Happy Monday mis amigos! I am finally starting to figure out this whole "assistant" thing, which is nice. This past week (you're never going to guess), I went on some more exchanges! I spent a day in the North Brooklyn, South Brooklyn, and Bronx zones, which was SO much fun! I really enjoy getting to go all around the mission and spending time with the zone leaders. I feel very blessed for sure! They are all so awesome! It is all fun and games eating at new deli's, seeing new parts of the city, and being around other missionaries, but the BEST part about all these exchanges is hearing each one of them teach and testify differently. I love hearing their individual testimonies and how they share them.
There was 1 day where I got to drive through ALL of my previous areas in the same day! That was a wild trip down memory lane. I was FREAKING out. I miss Richmond Hill, Olmstead, Harlem, and White Plains.
We got a media referral this week from a teenager named Hampton! From my experience, I feel like teenagers are not typically interested in coming closer to God, so it felt really weird talking to her, especially because she is white, and lives in a really rich part of town. She is probably the last person I would expect to want to meet with missionaries, but she is SO interested in the gospel, and said that the story of Joseph Smith "just makes sense"! We love Hampton.
Someone I taught during my short time in White Plains got baptized yesterday! Her name is Kathleen, and she is SO awesome!
Elder Webb and I got tired of sitting, so we created a double decker desk, so we can work standing up AND sitting down. I'll add a picture of it to this email. It's pretty sweet.
Other than that, this week was a grind full of late nights and early mornings. Gotta love it. Our friends Najae, Uzziel, Jennifer, Eddie, Rebecca, and Lorna are all doing well. Keep them in your prayers!
Shoutout to my brother Jordan for agreeing to make a new logo for our mission! Our current one is dope, but getting old. Stay tuned. Big things comin'.
Love you alllllllllllll!!!!
