Webster and Wooley's Wild Week of Wonder

WHAT'S GOOD EMAIL FAM? I hope you are all doing just dandy! I had a fan-flippin-tastic week! My new companion Elder Wooley is SO amazing! He is the total package and we are like best friends! We have been busier than ever because I am the Zone leader and he is the District Leader. So, lots of meetings! On top of that, he is the social media specialist over the Bronx Spanish Facebook page, so we have a big workload on us but we get it done! Elder Wooley is a super fun guy and a super hard worker! Ugh I could write a whole email about how great he is but I won't. I would be fine spending the rest of my mission in Harlem together, we are having a blast.

Also, some of you may not know this, but the island of Bermuda is in my mission (which is crazy because I think it's technically the property of the U.K.) and I found out that those missionaries are now part of my zone. So we are now responsible for Manhattan, Bermuda, and the Facebook page for the Bronx. We haven't had any spare time, it's fantastic.

We are doing an Avengers Infinity War Zone initiative throughout the whole transfer (classic me thing to do), and each companionship has to complete a series of challenges in order to collect all of the infinity stones throughout the transfer. Everyone is so hyped to do work and it's also way fun! #WhateverItTakes

Thanksgiving was amazing! We went for a run in the morning in Central Park and it was beautiful. Then, the Teuschers hosted a little cooking show over Zoom and taught the whole mission how to make homemade rolls and pumpkin pie! President Teuscher wore an apron that said "Chef Craig" and I just about died from laughing. The pie and rolls were amazing and it was so fun! We ended the night on Zoom with the whole mission as we ate pie together and had a little devotional. We had a few members bring us food as well! Other than having to make an emergency run to the store for yeast, it was a perfect day!

Our friends Omar and Noemy came to church (as well as a few other people we weren't expecting but that's a whole other story) and our ward just LOVED them!!! Noemy stayed at the chapel afterwards and hung out with her new church friends for like 2 hours! The members in Harlem are the greatest I have ever seen! One of the members, without us even asking, offered to drive Noemy to church every week so that she doesn't have to pay for a taxi! How amazing is that?! Literally an answer to our prayers!

I love Harlem!!! I love Elder Wooley!! I love missionary work!! The church is so true!!!!!!!!! Life is good here in the big 'ole apple. Love you all muchas. I took a million pictures this week and can't fit them all into 1 email, woops... I'll try to take less! Haha jk. We are going downtown today so expect some FIRE pictures next week! The Transition

July 5, 2021 This week was President and Sister Holme's first week as our mission presidents! I've been super nervous about this week for the past 3 months, praying, fasting, and staying up too late thinking about all the things I would need to do as their assistant to help them the best I can. Well, this week turned out to be one of the BEST weeks of my life! It was absolutely amazing! As I explain some of the awesome opportunities I had this week, KEEP IN MIND we worked SO hard this week. Harder than ever before. It wasn't all just fun and games like it might sound haha. First of all, I attended the transition dinner between the Teuschers and the Holmes, and it was really fun just hanging out and joking around with everyone. The Teuschers surprised me, Elder Money, and President Holmes with matching "unity ties". They have little boat steering wheels on them to basically say "you guys are in charge now". Zone Conference Week

August 16, 2021 What's good!!! This week was Zone Conference week, so we were running all over the mission giving trainings and making sure everything went smoothly. It was my last Zone Conference ever, which was sad, but I was honestly pretty relieved after it was over because its really stressful organizing the whole thing. Departing missionaries are always asked to share their testimony at their last Zone Conference, but because I attended ALL the zone conferences, I got to do it every day. We dropped Elder Money off at the airport on Thursday morning! It was super sad! I love that guy. He was such a great companion! Elder Call and I actually had time to do normal missionary work yesterday for the first time in months! We grabbed a stack of Book of Mormons and rode the subway up and down Manhattan for a few hours and passed out as many as we could. "Hurricane" Henri

August 23, 2021 To whom it may concern, This week was great! There was a hurricane over the weekend so we were in a hurry trying to contact parents and get missionaries who live on the coast to safer places to live as we waited out the storm. We were all very underwhelmed because it was probably the weakest hurricane in history haha, but I am glad no damage was done! All missionaries were on lockdown and church was cancelled. We live in the same building as President and Sister Holmes, so we were on lockdown with them and spent the day working on things together. I feel extremely blessed. They are changing my life every day. Elder Call and I got to proselyte a lot this week! It was my first time doing it in a few months, so we gave it everything we had, especially because neither of us have much time left to do it!
