September 13, 2021 It pains me to say that this was my last week as a missionary. We had a general authority (Elder Bassett) visit the mission all week, and Elder Call and I were in charge of the technology. I could probably write a whole email about all the miracles, struggles, and work that went into that. Maybe that's a story for another day. We picked up my replacement, Elder Wolfgramm, and have been training him on some things before I go. It has been an absolute blast being in a trio with them. I reflected a lot this week on the past 2 years and the things I have learned. I want to make a brief summary of my mission and say what I learned from each of my areas and companions!  August 30, 2021 buenos días hermanos y hermanas! How you livin???? I got to go to the temple this week! The last time I went to the temple was in Mexico at the MTC, almost 2 years ago. I was blown away by how my understanding of the gospel has improved since then. The temple made SO much more sense and I felt the spirit really strongly. I had some really powerful experiences and insights while I was in there that I will never forget. About 2 weeks ago, Elder Call and I bought tacos from a guy named Mario at a taco stand on the street. We talked to him while he made our tacos, and we ended up inviting him to be baptized right there on the street! Only 2 weeks later, and HE WAS BAPTIZED YESTERDAY! It was a huge miracle. I have struggled with the fact that I haven't had much time to find or teach lately, and have been praying to find ways to more feel like I am fulfilling my missionary  purpose.  August 23, 2021 To whom it may concern, This week was great! There was a hurricane over the weekend so we were in a hurry trying to contact parents and get missionaries who live on the coast to safer places to live as we waited out the storm. We were all very underwhelmed because it was probably the weakest hurricane in history haha, but I am glad no damage was done! All missionaries were on lockdown and church was cancelled. We live in the same building as President and Sister Holmes, so we were on lockdown with them and spent the day working on things together. I feel extremely blessed.  August 16, 2021 What's good!!! This week was Zone Conference week, so we were running all over the mission giving trainings and making sure everything went smoothly. It was my last Zone Conference ever, which was sad, but I was honestly pretty relieved after it was over because its really stressful organizing the whole thing. Departing missionaries are always asked to share their testimony at their last Zone Conference, but because I attended ALL the zone conferences, I got to do it every day.  We dropped Elder Money off at the airport on Thursday morning! It was super sad! I love that guy. He was such a great companion! Elder Call and I actually had time to do normal missionary work yesterday for the first time in months! We grabbed a stack of Book of Mormons and rode the subway up and down Manhattan for a few hours and passed out as many as we could. August 9, 2021 Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great week! I'm writing this email having spent 110% of my energy this week on the work of the Lord. I almost have no energy left other than the promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me". I'm going into my 6th month with little sleep and an enormous workload, and It's catching up to me now, but I'll be okay. I seriously feel like the only thing keeping me going is Jesus Christ, which is an incredible feeling having given everything to the Lord. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm definitely not complaining, but I'm insanely grateful for the opportunity to serve. August 2, 2021 Hello!! I hope you all had a wonderful week! This week was an absolute grind. It totally wrecked me. I'm almost too exhausted to type it all out, so this email will be brief. I don't really get a P-day today because we are picking up 31 new missionaries from the airport and we planned a whole program for tonight with trainings and stuff for them. Grind never stops. Plus, we went to bed at 1 AM last night because President needed help with some things. I'm dead. Elder Call is my new companion! I picked him up a week ago and he is so awesome! He has never been a Zone Leader, he was supposed to go home, and he already served as an office elder. It literally makes no sense that he is an AP but President Holmes felt a very strong impression that it needed to be him, so it actually makes perfect sense. July 26, 2021 Wow. I had some really special and sacred experiences this week, I am excited to tell you about it! Since this is President Holmes' first time planning transfers, he trusted us to make a rough draft transfer board because we know more about the missionaries than he does. So, about 95% of my time this week was spent making adjustments to the transfer board and assigning missionaries to their new areas and new companions. Not many missionaries ever get to PLAN AN ENTIRE TRANSFER, so I am very grateful for that opportunity and trust President has in us. I was reminded of one of my favorite General Conference talks where Elder Rasband speaks about the process of how missionaries are assigned to a mission. He, being a brand new apostle, was asked to assign a missionary somewhere. When asked where he thought a missionary should go, he said, "I don't know, and I didn't know I could know!".  July 19, 2021 Hello everyone! Hope you all had a good week! This week was a bit difficult and eye opening for me, I had a really interesting experience. On Thursday, we were in a lesson and our phones kept vibrating but we just ignored it because we were teaching. After the lesson, we got in the car and checked our phones. We had several missed calls from Sister Robison and Sister Braithwaite. When we called them back, they were both crying so hard that they could barely speak. We asked what was wrong, and all they said, full of tears and out of breath, was "please pray for us." So, we hung up and said a prayer for them, not knowing what was wrong. Then, we called President Holmes and he told us that Sister Robison's 13 year old brother back in Utah got ran over by a truck, and died. Our jaws dropped. It was so sad, and you could hear the pain in their voices when we called them. President rushed to their apartment, gave them a blessing, and they all came back and stayed...

 July 12, 2021 What's up email squad     Back at it again with anotha weekly email, comin' in hot   This week was Zone Conference week! I got to travel around the mission every day and attend each zone conference, which was a sweet experience! Usually that is the best day ever for missionaries (and it still is), but it is so much more work when you're an assistant to a brand new mission president who has no idea what a Zone Conference even is haha. He thought Harlem was in Long Island, so I have my work cut out for me haha. We planned the whole agenda for each day, gave a training to the mission about finding, setup chairs/tables/the projector, and made sure everything went smoothly every day. It turned out great!  July 5, 2021 This week was President and Sister Holme's first week as our mission presidents! I've been super nervous about this week for the past 3 months, praying, fasting, and staying up too late thinking about all the things I would need to do as their assistant to help them the best I can. Well, this week turned out to be one of the BEST weeks of my life! It was absolutely amazing! As I explain some of the awesome opportunities I had this week, KEEP IN MIND we worked SO hard this week.  June 28, 2021 Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well! This week was absolutely ridiculous. Today is the day I have been anticipating for about 3 months now. President and Sister Teuscher go home, and the Holmes' fly in. We've been really busy this past week doing last minute things to prepare, like prepping the new mission home, getting the car clean and ready for President and Sister Holmes, and a few other things. I am really excited because tonight we are having a "transition dinner" where we will sit down with the Teuschers and the Holmes, take some pictures, talk a little about the mission, and go our separate ways afterwards. I don't know where we are going out to eat, but I know it's in downtown Manhattan and it's EXPENSIVE. June 21, 2021   I don't know how many of you read my emails or not, but this one will actually be worth reading haha. I have a short P-day because new missionaries fly in today and I get to pick them up and drop them off to their trainers! I am very excited to meet them!  First things first, the day has finally come where we got permission to KNOCK DOORS, STREET CONTACT, AND TRAIN CONTACT! We can FINALLY talk to people! We are almost completely back to normal, which is so exciting. We were advised to limit our time spent outside though because online work is literally so much more effective in NYC, especially right now when everyone is still in the habit of not talking to anyone else.  June 14, 2021 Wow. I feel like a different person than I was a week ago. So many life changing experiences this week that I will never forget. First of all, Alex got baptized on Saturday! We met at Wendy's in Arizona years ago and he has been learning more and more since then. I got to join the baptism over zoom, my dad gave a wonderful talk about the Holy Ghost, and Alex shared such a powerful testimony. I am not kidding, I don't think I have ever felt the spirit more strongly in my entire life. I cried the entire time. I was so grateful. I was speechless the rest of the day. Even writing in my journal that night was tough, because I didn't have the words to describe how happy I felt. The spirit = Joy.  June 7, 2021  What's good email squad? This week was pretty tough, not going to lie. On Tuesday, we started moving all of our furniture into our new apartment! We LOVE our new apartment (address is 55 Nagle Avenue apt #2C... send me something if you're brave) but it was pretty tiring carrying heavy furniture up and down stairs all day in the heat and humidity. I found a super fancy (and free!) dinner table on Facebook that I picked up from the Bronx, but it turns out they lived on the 14th floor of their building and the table didn't fit in the elevator. That was fun. We got moved in for the most part, but we ran out of time. We have been on exchanges around the mission EVERY SINGLE DAY this week so we haven't even been home to finish moving in.   May 31, 2021 Okay. This week was incredible! I'll keep it as brief as possible even though I could probably talk all day about this stuff. RAQUEL GOT BAPTIZED! It was amazing! She is so happy, and has made some major life adjustments in order to be worthy. She feels amazing and couldn't be happier! She texted us the morning after and said "the next time you go talk to people about Jesus, I want to come with you". So we had her join us for some lessons, and she was inviting everyone to be baptized! It was awesome! She used to be a rockstar and lived a wild entertainer lifestyle, but now she is the holiest, most PRESTIGIOUS cat-sitter in Manhattan. No joke, she has about 300 clients and visits their lofts/rich apartments regularly to take care of their cats. So cool.   May 24, 2021 Another wild one coming in hot.  Zone Conference was this week, and President asked Elder Money and me to give a training to the whole mission about Device Audits. Our mission has NEVER done device audits, so we had no experience. So we actually did device audits about a week in advance to get practice, and we studied the doctrine behind why we do it. It was incredible and we learned so much. We had to go to EVERY zone conference around the mission and we ended up giving our training not 1, not 2, but 12 times this week to different zones. It got a little repetitive for us, but we LOVED it every time. We were very busy traveling around the mission, setting up and teaching missionaries all week. I got to see EVERY missionary in the mission face to face within just a couple of days. It was awesome! After each zone conference, I got to go on exchanges with Zone Leaders. May 17, 2021 Week 1 of the transfer was intense! As per usual, we were super busy this week with getting brand new missionaries to their trainers, departing missionaries to the airport, planning zone conferences, President's interview schedule, accountability calls, planning 11 exchanges, rosters, transfers, moving to Manhattan, searching for/buying a new apartment for ourselves, giving not 1, but 2 trainings in a mission leadership meeting, planning our zone conference training for this upcoming week, and trying our best to do at least a little proselyting in our area. We pretty much didn't sleep this week. We ended up doing a companionship study at 12:30 AM because that was when we finally had time for it. We are working on getting to bed earlier... it's not good... But it was a blast! We are productive literally every minute of the day, which feels great. We were homeless for about 2 days.
